Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AIDA) today announced that it
has received an award from the Science and Technology Department of
Zhejiang Province, one of the richest regions in China and known throughout
the country for its focus on innovation. Aida was rewarded by the
governmental authority because of its “clinical research and
commercialization of Rh-Apo2L” as a “significant scientific and social
developing project” recognized by the Science and Technology Department of
Zhejiang Province. The Science and Technology Department of Zhejiang
Province is the governmental administrative department for the entire
science and technology industry in Zhejiang Province.
Mr. Jin Biao, Chairman of Aida Pharmaceuticals, stated, “We are very
honored to have this major award bestowed on us by the Science and
Technology Department of Zheijiang Province. The government has supported
our efforts throughout Rh-Apo2L’s development process.” The award also
includes a financial reward, totaling RMB1.2 million (US$164,982.47, as of
January 2008).
